I didn't get any nearer than this. It may look fairly close but it is seen at the end of my telephoto lens. My feet were already feeling weary and I turned east and headed towards Lewes station and a 313 class EMU home!

The masts and gantries are going up for the electrification of the routes through Reading to Bristol and South Wales, but the wiring is many months off.
This madness has been sitting on file for almost a year. I have no idea how it was created. My good old favorite PSE effect 'glass button' has obviously been used to get the rounded surfaces, as has the 'crystallize' filter to give the patches of colour.

This handsome bird of prey was photographed during a falconry display by The Haven Falconry, on the Isle of Wight.
The presentation was inspired by a style used by SYLDERO which I spotted in Explore. I have used a simplified version which I think suits the subject. Thanks SYLDERO!
Taken from the front seat of a driverless DLR train. It took my two grandchildren a while to work out that they were sitting where one would expect a driver to sit!
