Tawny Lily 2018

Here she comes
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hemerocallis_fulva
' Tawny ' is open for our viewing pleasure ..
Known in some areas as a Ditch Lily since she isn't fussy where she is ..
A 'true-died-in-the-wool' day lily person usually lets you know in a heart beat -- That is not a day lily !
Honest ... I have been told that on some gardening sites that it is invasive and so on ..
If somebody wants to bloom in my Garden of Surprises ..
Can't give a hoot if she has 'papers' or a pedigree !
I say -- Bloom on, My Dear !
Bloom On ~
(but if you start crowding out somebody else, you will have to decide which of you would like a transfer to another home .. would never get rid of all .. not possible)
Oh, and keep an eye open for the Deer .. so far .. so good !

Whenever I go out and these bursts of orange greet me ..
It's finger poppin' time ...
No way I can get through the yard without this song in my head !

Jules brought these over from her garden -
My son was up before sunrise -
Just so he could film it for me.
Got a beautiful note from my daughter -
There is nobody like Mr. C -
Life is good.

Clematis ( Kardynal Wyszynski ) ..
Still more buds, but the glory of almost covering the mailbox is just about done.
Postman is probably glad ..
Mr. C is ( "can you cut that back"? )
"No, it isn't time yet" ..
So, I would go out and move any offending tendrils out of the way of ..
He who delivers our mail ..
And he who goes out to pick it up ..
(But - you didn't hear that from me..)

Yellow Gold (Gold Digger) bloomed in March -
Then came the rest in between mid-March snow and cold weather -
Tough Gals -
Have given up on when they ''are supposed to bloom'' -
They bloom when they feel like it AND where the want to be -
Some do wander -
Probably to see if I can find them -

Used some of Sami Serola's suggestions re: PicMonkey and frames -
www.ipernity.com/blog/serola/4695952
But changed here and there -
It is quite an interesting process -
Thanks, Sami --
** note - should you try this, save your frame -- I didn't -- it is probably in Sami's notes, but had 2 screens open and got tired of going back and forth **
