Peggy C club has replied to Ronald Stachowiak clubThis was when my husband and I walked through the grounds of Cypress Gardens.
But, perhaps a small section is still there -- the grounds were purchased by the people who own LEGO and it has become LEGOLAND, FL.
Popular with children ..

Peggy C club has addedThere was a magnificent Butterfly House and so many paths to wander --
Then Disneyworld came in .. and I don't think the Gardens could keep up financially to repair damages done by hurricanes [ 3 in one year ]...
Just compare it to a huge box store ( aka Home Depot/Walmart, etc.) replacing small busineses that have been in your town for years ...
We used to have a multitude of Appliance Stores owned / run by families -- now there is 1 - one -..
And yes, we buy there..
