We walked up to Parlick and this will be the view towards Longridge Fell and beyond to Pendle Hill

I got to go to Lancaster in 2015 (I'm in Oregon, so a long was from me) - saw sights similar to this, but never got a photo like this one. This is a delight. I like the depth of field used - just the right amount of out-of-focus in the distance to feel the type of landscape, but keep the interest on the wall.

Thanks very much raingirl. Been to Oregon once myself (some time ago now though)

It is interesting to me that Oregon and England have a lot of the same feel to them landscape wise, yet in actuality the landscapes are very different. I guess I just feel at home both places - lots of green! (unless you went to eastern oregon - that is high desert - ha!).

Do you mind me asking why you came here? It isn't usually a travelers destination, though we do have lots for visitors to enjoy - it just tends to not be that well known.

I went for the beer and some mountain biking (Mount Bachelor). And to go somewhere a bit different. Started in Seattle, then Portland, on to Bend, over to the coast and back to Portland. Really enjoyed it.

Nice trip. Glad you got to see our coast line also.
