Only treatment is learning to manage it, but there are groups the GP can refer me to for support.

There are pain management and support groups that the GP will refer me to and I fully intend to be grinning whilst I bear it !!!!

I'm sorry to hear about your diagnosis, that's not pleasant at all :-(
I just read though that moderate exercises (swimming, for example) ought to help. Or dancing :-) You can do that at home :-)) At least that's what they suggest here in Germany. Still...this condition sucks! I hope things will work out for you and you'll experience some improvement fairly soon!

Despite of this...HFF Maggie and try to have a good weekend (as good as you possibly can and treat yourself to something nice) :-)

Yes that’s the same advice we get here, as well as support groups with other sufferers.

I’ve discovered today that I can drive nearly all day (my son is 45 but still needs me to help him out occasionally). His VW camper went to have a diesel heater fitted today and I followed him there and back whilst it was being done. No problems and I even stopped to capture some windmill images - to be uploaded soon ...

I’m sure the GP will put me on pain management. At the moment regular paracetamol is doing the job, long may it continue :-)
