Metaphorical Fence Friday

This detail view is from an exhibit by amazing textile artist Vivienne Beaumont, I saw it in her Somerton exhibition and it really touched me. I'm not sure what it means to her, but to me it speaks of the mental fences abuse victims, mainly women, build to protect themselves from painful memories and which can become barriers to trust.
