Now Autumn is here and the evenings are getting darker, you never what what you are going to find in your garden!
Try viewing large, if you dare................
Spring Cakes

I thought I'd post an extra photo today.........and why not?
In the garden this morning, and noticed that the fairy cakes we planted late last year have come up and started to flower already. Much more colourful than snowdrops.........and edible as well :-))
Must go now, there seem to be some men in white coats at the door.....................
Driftwood
I spotted this bit of driftwood that someone had propped up against the sea wall in Dell Quay. I thought it had the most marvellous shapes and textures, so decided to grab a photo to share!
I've added a couple of notes to indicate the shapes I see in the wood..!!
Best viewed large for detail.
A Buoy from Dell Quay
Beach Miscellany

Continuing the beach theme from yesterday.......here is some more things I found to photograph on the beach at Bognor Regis, West Sussex.
Best viewed large, I think.
Fun with Baby :-))
I did a double-take when I saw this contraption in a vintage shop in Bognor Regis. Thankfully, the "baby" turned out to be a realistic looking doll.
During WWII, babies had special gas-respirators like this one. When all the flaps were folded in place and the straps fastened the baby was totally enclosed. Filtered air was then pumped in by hand.
Light in the Darkness

I noticed the light coming through a gap in the trees in our local cemetery and I like the way it lit up the leaves.
Tree House (+PiP)
I spotted this tiny tree house in Bicton Park Botanical Gardens, Devon.
Check out the PiP for some more tree houses.
