Bee Fly in Flight (+PiP)

Bee Fly in Flight (+PiP)
I was in my garden yesterday afternoon. Having spent some time this year trying and failing to get a Hoverfly in flight it was good to get this Bee Fly instead. I'm still going to try and get a Hoverfly, but I'm quite pleased with this in the meantime.

Just to prove it wasn't a fluke, there's another shot in the PiP! Best viewed large.....thanks for looking.

Trés belle prise. Au premier regard j'ai cru que c'était l'avion Anglais qui décolle verticalement (le Harrier je crois) C'est donc une "abeille Harrier". Amitié. Jean Paul

Ha, ha...........I wouldn't be able to get that close to a Harrier without being blown over!! I like the idea of a "Harrier Bee" though.

Glad you like it Jean Paul..........and thanks for commenting.
