Seed Heads

Seed Heads
I found these in my front garden while having a clear out of some dead foliage. To be honest I have no idea what they are or how they got there, but they photographed quite well. The bokeh is a layer of gravel.

Jan, Gudrun, autofantasia, Xata and 22 other people have particularly liked this photo

I wonder? Lavender? Like it anyhow!

I don't have any lavender in the garden Andy. Glad you like the shot though! I'll have to wait and see if any of the seeds germinate I suppose :-))

Beautiful detail. I like that one or two are hanging on. Waiting for the spring to fly. Maybe you should plant them to see what comes up.

Glad you like it Jean. Planting one would be a good idea, but just after I tool the photo I found my wife had pulled whatever it was up and it was under a pile of other stuff in the garden recycling bin :-))

Perhaps some of the others will germinate.......I'll have to keep an eye out.

The gravel looks great as a backdrop with your lovely focusing Keith. I wouldn't know what they are either, but if your wife pulled them up, they can't be much good ;-))
