Knowing Your Onions - a Natural Abstract
According to the Collins English Dictonary the old-fashoined saying, "knowing your onions" means that you know a great deal about a particular subject.
Having said that, I just thought they made a super natural abstract, and the phrase came to mind when I was thinking about a title.
I took this yesterday during a visit to Hinton Ampner House and Gardens - a National Trust property about a 40 min drive from my house. I was looking for something different to photograph rather than the usual architecture and flowers (although I did some of that as well).
I think it looks better viewed large, on black................give it a try!
