This is a close up of one of the broken glass panels on the Adur Ferry Bridge, Shoreham-by-Sea,

There have been ongoing problems with the panels cracking like this.............investigations have shown that while a couple have probably been vandalised, the main causes seem to be inclusions in the glass material and failure at the fixings. Work to replace the glass and remedy the problems is ongoing..............

Meanwhile.............they make a good subject for us photographers :-)

At first I thought of a slightly anarchic fence but looking closer I can see it's glass:-) I like how the cracks pick up he blue of the sky!

Ich hielt es zuerst für das Drahtgeflecht eines Zaunes, aber es ist gesprungenes Glas! Ein wirklich außergewöhnliches Motiv, das mir sehr gut gefällt!
