I agree with Judith on this one, Keith. It is probably more eye-catching now than when it came off the production line.
Several similar armoured chariots are scattered around the site at Hollycombe...some 20 miles due north of Chichester. (Where the weather begins to deteriorate ;)

Thanks Neil. This one is actually in someone's front garden. Maybe someone is going to have a go at restoring it.

Thanks Jean. These were used by shepherds at lambing time I believe, so they could live with the flock and keep an eye on them.

Restored ones are now used as holiday lets and some sell for thousands of pounds.

This reminds me of the Basque shepherds I saw years ago in (I think) Idaho. I think there are very few of them left, now. Lovely photo!
