Sun on the hills.

Sun on the hills.
Not a great day. Toothache from the cold getting into a tooth with an exposed nerve. Eating and particularly drinking was pretty painful, the upside being that I want to lose weight anyway. Used it as an excuse to do nothing but eventually went out to Charlottetown gravel pit and walked right round it looking for photos. It was frozen but melting round the edges. To my surprise children were sledging over it with their parents. It isn't very deep but I don't think I would have risked it. Took some photos and sneaked off with a fallen branch which might be good for bird photos in the garden.
On the way home I stopped to photograph the last of the sun on the North East Fife hills and decided that was the photo of the day. My toothache had calmed down so I had tea and toast and honey. Surprised and pleased that honey doesn't cause a twinge. I've begun to believe in its medicinal properties.
