Maratime Matters

Kyleakin Lighthouse is situated at the south-western end of Eilean Bàn (The six-acre island that supports part of the Skye Bridge). It was built by David and Thomas Stevenson in 1857, en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skye_Bridge

The Skye Bridge was opened in October 1995 and replaced the Calmac ferry service Between Kyle of Lochalsh and Kyleakin

This boat makes me go back 70 years when my village still delivered to Lisbon the najority of its fresh fish.
Of course it smalls in all the small streets and when you sit down in the class room at least one ot the two other boys is the son of one of those fishermen.
And they had "sometimes" auxiliary engines 12 HP monocylinders semi Diesel For The Bad Days.
