Yeah! No Dumping! (Why did they put a "No Dumping" sign beside a dumpster anyway?!? Aren't those made for dumping?) And you can tell that the "video surveillance" warning really made a difference in how seriously people took the warning.

No "Happy Meals" here...for now.
The local McDonalds Restaurant came into my area when I was a Sophomore in High School. Through the years, the "Golden Arches" were a favorite destination, not only because I'm a terrible cook and most of my meals are from fast-food locations, but because they had a kids playground, making it possible for the parents to eat while their kids nibbled on bites of burgers and chicken nuggets in between slides and climbs through the tunnels.
Alas, its gone... an expansion of sorts, where this particular McDonalds will be re-built to over double its original size. The local franchise has acquired the adjacent property while retaining the original parcel of land. So, while there are no "Happy Meals" being served here now, hopefully the tradition of making parents and kids happy will continue in the near future.
American Red Cross Disaster Relief truck in the driveway of my Station Manager of WLMR radio, Jason McKay. Jason is so involved in charitable work that it seems almost odd that he would be on the "receiving" end of relief efforts, rather than someone who is involved in dispensing aid throughout the area. (Not that he hasn't already been helping his neighbors dig out from under all their rubble, too!)
One of dozens of mushrooms that suddenly popped up in the grass near my work. As kids, we always took great delight in smashing these things and watching the powder fly everywhere. Little did we realize that we were perpetuating the process, helping distribute the spores to find new ground and create new mushrooms. We just thought we were having fun.
