It has always seemed a moving memorial to me. It is so heavy, so endless, so speechless...yet it has gravity, dignity..it has.the "formal feeling" Emily Dickinson wrote about. And it is brutal, inhuman, godless. An impossible memorial.
As Emily said : "Hope" is the thing with feathers.."

Danke, Angelika, und ja, mir ging es ähnlich; habe nur 2 Bilder, die mich zufriedenstellen. Hier gibt das Vögelchen an dieser Stelle vielleicht nicht nur mir Zugang zu einem tieferen Sinn.

Das zweite Bild werde ich bei anderer Gelegenheit zeigen.
