Ship's clock

Ship's clock
The Cunard cruise ship MS Queen Elizabeth. Cruise from Melbourne to Brisbane via Sydney.

The opportunity to experience a grand ship, in elegant Art Deco style, a real yesteryear feeling. Excellent service, and we enjoyed our Brittania Club stateroom, with balcony.

Queen Elizabeth is almost identical in design to Queen Victoria, although because of the steeper stern, at her introduction into service the passenger capacity was slightly higher with up to 2,058 compared to Queen Victoria's 2,014.

The ship also features a Britannia Club section of the main restaurant, which is a feature popular on Queen Mary 2, but not available on Queen Victoria. This service allows passengers in the Britannia staterooms to have single seating dining arrangements, without having to upgrade to the more expensive Grills classes.

Daylight saving time south of Brisbane. I didn't change my camera time, and it recorded 11.22am.
Must check the setting as it should be a one hour difference...

Beautiful lines Gillian. I love cruising. My eye is drawn down to some monstrous machines though. I’ll avert my eyes

Like the others have said, the lines are lovely in your presentation and interesting face to that clock. :)

Yes, this stairway leads down to the casino. Don't know why a casino is needed at sea, especially on the Queens of Cunard... Needless to say we have only walked through. Usually pretty empty. Must be popular on cruises in the Northern Hemisphere??

I adore the detail of the old ships. This is not the best time for cruise ship companies.
