Fascinating patterns, particularly with the shadow as reinforcement. The thumbnail looked rather like a zipper, but if it is, it's like the one on one of my good coats and has problems engaging. Not quite monochrome - is there such a thing as trichrome? Triochrome? Whatever, the colors go well enough together.

Thanks, Bob. I would have preferred the colours be more distinctive, but couldn't get any more contrast than this.

I like all the scrapes and scratches on the ladder to heaven(or maybe not) and the varying flecks of colour highlighted by its shadow.

Thanks, Jean. You got me thinking about it as Jacob's ladder, which led to some interesting ideas. Thanks.

I'm guessing this is a bench you've rotated 180 degrees..............very cleverly done, it makes a super abstract. I like the shadows especially John.

Thanks, Keith, The camera seems to have done the rotating for me, This definitely looks as if it was shot in landscape orientation, but the camera produce protrait files. Cameras seem to get confused when they're held parallel to the ground. or near to it.
