Beautiful light, John, and great juxtaposition of vertical and horizonal lines. All the best, Joe

Works very well as abstract design. There's almost something sad about the small balconies, though, until one's eye is caught by the overturned chair on the top one. Then, it's all somehow humanized.

I hope the view is good....

Thanks, Bob. The balcony below the bottom one here is very humanized, bedecked with silk flowers which make it n attractive place to sit even in winter.

The view is nothing special, but quite a change from the view from my balcony in Toronto. In Toronto the building I lived in was in a gully, so I from my fourth-floor apartment I was looking at the ground floor of the buildings a block south. I faced a wall of buildings ranging from 15 to 35 storeys. Here the dominant feature of the view is some majestic trees.

I see you have somewhere nice to sit and enjoy the sunshine John............assuming you haven't sneaked onto someone else's balcony :-))

I do share a balcony, Keith. But I'm still leery of the it. I'm 6'2" (188 cm) and that railing is really short. My neighbour is taller, so I don't think either of us is going to be adventurous out there.

At this time of year, occasionally, Damir. Come the spring I expect more people will be out. If I've got over my fear of the short railing I may be out there, too.
