Nathan Phillips Square, Toronto
New City Hall (1965) in the background. It is usually attributed to Viljo Revell, but he thought his colleagues Heikki Castren, Bengt Lundsten, and Seppo Valjus should also be credited.

John FitzGerald club has replied to Isisbridge clubThe new building isn't very functional, either. To get from the top of one tower to the top of the other you take the elevator to the ground floor then cross to the other towere's elevators. The engineers also had to modify it extensively so it wouldn't fall down in a windstorm or deteriorate because of differences in expansion betwwen the north and south sides.
They did want to tear the old building down, of course, but the enraged citizenry stopped them.
Oh - and the couple taking a selfie (selfus?) - at least they don't have one of those thrice-damned sticks. There oughtta be a law.
