DSCF6534 Centrebus 530 (YY64 GWE) in Empingham - 28 Mar 2017

Monday 28 March 2017 (0846) - Centrebus 530 (YY64 GWE), an Alexander Dennis (ADL) Enviro200 new in November 2014, rolling through Empingham village as it worked the 0740 service 19 from Peterborough to Nottingham. This hourly service has an end to end journey time of just a few minutes short of three hours. Prior to 1st December 2013 Centrebus operated two separate services either side of Oakham which had originated with Kimes Buses (from Peterborough via Stamford) and Paul James Coaches (Veolia) (from Nottingham via Melton Mowbray). Centrebus linked the two services with through running although different service numbers were used (9 and 19 respectively). From 28 August 2016 the service was numbered 19 throughout.
