DSCF6178 Whippet Coaches LK04 FLE in Cambridge - 10 Mar 2017

Friday 10 March 2017 (1118) – Whippet Coaches WD435 (LK04 FLE) seen travelling along a briefly quiet Emmanuel Street, Cambridge when working service 117 to Chesterton (Fen Estate). Whippet is owned by Australian based Transit Systems which also owns Tower Transit in London. This Wright Eclipse Gemini bodied Volvo B7TL was new in September 2004 to First Centrewest (London) as their 32499. In June 2013 Tower Transit acquired First London’s operations, this bus came with the sale and was later transferred to Whippet.
