Eine melancholische bank also. Kein frohes liebesgedicht oder so etwas ähnliches, das mir jetzt bei einer bank spontan in den sinn gekommen wäre.

Ja leider (melancholische Bank). Er war ein Engländer, der hier gewohnt hat, ich glaube, seine Familie hat die Bank zur Erinnerung aufstellen lassen.

Hier kenne ich solche parkbänke, die von leuten (oder auch firmen) gestiftet wurden. Da ist dann an der rückenlehne ein kleines schild angebracht mit namen und datum.
