Once upon a time...
Laval enjoys a significant architectural heritage, with portions of city walls, medieval houses, old bridges and churches - and especially with its castle and keep (13th c.) which are located on a rocky spur overlooking the Mayenne river (see PiP).

Petite anecdote . A l époque où j habitais en nord rhone Alpes, j avais vu 3 matchs de l asse st Étienne dont un contre laval qui avait perdu ( sic ) .
