Snow covered West Lomond on a bright spring morning

Snow covered West Lomond on a bright spring morning
At 552 metres, West Lomond, part of the West Lomond Hills, is the highest point in the Kingdom of Fife, Scotland. The ruin (Corston Tower) in the green field is the remains of a 16th century tower house.

Andrea Riberti, Fred Fouarge, Tanja - Loughcrew, and 15 other people have particularly liked this photo

A beautiful picture Doug, especially when viewed large. Thank you for the information. I often see something in a picture and wonder what it is but you always give great accounts of the scene.

A beautiful image Doug, and it deserves to be viewed full screen. The tower stands out beautifully with the snowy mountains behind it. A lovely crisp feel to this shot. Happy Sunday

Beautiful snowy landscape. I recognised it instantly. I often photograph from the layby but I think you must have gone over the fence to get such a good angle.

Thanks for your visit and YS roeli. The Lomond Hills are located in eastern Scotland in the county of Fife (Kingdom of Fife), quite a long distance from either Loch Lomond or Fort William.
