Ein vergessener Baumstamm - A forgotten tree trunk
A felled tree trunk in the forest, actually intended for furniture or construction timber, was obviously forgotten. Fungi (here trametes) multiply on this ideal substrate and start decomposing the wood. Mosses can settle. In the end, the tree trunk becomes mulm and humus, but perhaps it will be found in time.
