Schmetterlingstramete - Trametes versicolor

Die Schmetterlings-Tramete ist kein Speisepilz und gilt als ungenießbar. Sie ist ein häufiger kleiner Holzbewohner an Totholz oder ein Schwächeparasit, ihr Hauptsubstrat ist in Mitteleuropa die Rotbuche, seltener Eiche, Birke, Hasel und Weide. Sie wächst auf Stümpfen, Stapelholz, liegenden Stämmen, Ästen und Zweigen. Die Art ist in Mitteleuropa in allen Waldtypen anzutreffen.
