Pilzpyramide - Mushroom pyramid

The centre of the photo shows a tree stump completely covered by mosses and fungal fruiting bodies. The fungal filaments (hyphae) inside the wood, together with various bacteria, help to decompose the wood into humus, the mosses benefit from the moisture stored in the stump and can photosynthesise well in the moderate light conditions prevailing in the forest. The tree stump on the left is probably also infested by the same fungus, which is still forming white-looking small fruiting bodies at the moment. The importance of fungi for humus formation is enormous. The CO2 that the plant (here the tree) had absorbed throughout its life was used to form organic compounds. After the plant death, the organic compounds in/on the soil are largely converted by fungi and bacteria into other organic carbon compounds ("humus") and the oxygen (O2) is partly released back into the atmosphere. The humus in the soil is therefore a very important CO2 store. The same processes naturally take place when fields and gardens are cultivated. Humus protection is therefore synonymous with climate protection!

As well as scientific method and conspirationism are the same thing !
