Mein kleiner Albino ... My little albino

In meinem Garten wachsen seit Jahren wild ganz viele Akeleipflanzen (Gemeine Akelei, Aquilegia vulgaris), die alle möglichen Farbschattierungen (hellrosa, rötlich, bläulich) aufweisen. Dieses Jahr tauchte eine Mutante ohne jede Farbe in reinem Weiß auf mit grünen Farbflecken an den Spitzen der Blütenblätter. J. W. von Goethe hätte seine Freude an dieser Mutante, zeigt sie doch, dass wegen der grünen Farbe seine Theorie aus dem Jahre 1798 bestätigt wird, dass bei einer Pflanzenblüte auch die Blütenblätter nichts anderes als umgewandelte Laubblätter sind. In my garden I have been growing a lot of common columbine plants (Aquilegia vulgaris) in the wild for years, in all possible shades of colour (light pink, reddish, bluish). This year a mutant without any colour appeared in pure white with green patches of colour at the tips of the petals.
