Goldene Frühlingssonnen - Golden spring suns
Im Bild eine Gruppe von Huflattich (Tussilago farfara), rechts ein abgeblühtes Exemplar. Typisch für diesen Frühblüher ist, dass seine Blüten vor den Blättern erscheinen. Der Huflattich war in Deutschland die Heilpflanze des Jahres 1994. Er gilt als bedeutsame Heilpflanze bei Hustenreiz, weil Inhaltsstoffe der Blätter schleimlösend wirken.
Und noch ein Bezug zu Covid-19: Die großen Blätter des Huflattichs sind unterseits weich behaart und werden daher von Naturfreunden auch als Toilettenpapier benutzt.

In the picture a group of coltsfoot (Tussilago farfara), on the right a faded specimen. Typical for this early bloomer is that its blossoms appear before the leaves. In Germany, coltsfoot was the medicinal plant of 1994 and is considered an important medicinal plant for coughs, because substances contained in the leaves have an expectorant effect.
And another reference to Covid-19: The large leaves of the coltsfoot are softly hairy on the underside and are therefore also used by nature lovers as toilet paper.
