Reykjavik Konzerthalle Harpa - Concert Hall Harpa - PiPs
PiP

The concert and opera house is regarded as an architectural attraction and a new landmark of the capital.
The special: The glass blocks are based on the hexagonal basalt columns that are so common in the treeless nature of the volcanic island. See PiP: Basalt columns at the Svartifoss waterfall.
The manifold mirror and refraction effects that can be created with them are based on calculations of higher mathematics. None of the 956 columns is the same as the other.
The PiP shows the Harpa concert hall from outside.
