1. Es geht eine dunkle Wolk herein.
Mich deucht, es wird ein Regen sein,
ein Regen aus den Wolken
wohl in das grüne Gras.
2. Und kommt die liebe Sonn nit bald,
so weset alls im grünen Wald;
und all die müden Blumen,
die haben müden Tod.
3. Es geht eine dunkle Wolk herein.
Es soll und muß geschieden sein.
Ade Feinslieb, dein Scheiden
macht mir das Herze schwer
Melodie und Text: nach Pater Johann Werlins Liederhandschrift, Kloster Seeon am Chiemsee, 1646. Dort nur die erste Strophe. Die 2. Strophe erschien erstmals im Zupfgeigenhansl, Darmstadt 1909. Die 3. Strophe entstammt - abgesehen von der geänderten Schlusszeile - einem Wanderlied des Kuhländchens (Ich waß wohl, wenns gut wandern ist), überliefert bei Kretzschmer/Zuccalmaglio, Deutsche Volkslieder mit ihren Original-Weisen, Berlin 1838–1840 (liederprojekt.org/lied29226-Es-geht-ein-dunkle-Wolk-herein.html )
