Bad Schandau mit Sendigbrunnen und St. Johanniskirche

Die St.-Johannis-Kirche ist die evangelisch-lutherische Stadtkirche in Bad Schandau. Die am Markt befindliche Kirche stammt aus dem 18. Jahrhundert und beherbergt in ihrem Inneren einen wertvollen Altar aus der Renaissance, der ursprünglich für die Dresdner Kreuzkirche geschaffen wurde.

Der Sendigbrunnen ist ein Brunnen in Bad Schandau im Freistaat Sachsen. Benannt nach Rudolf Sendig (1848–1928), dem Förderer des Kurbetriebes und des öffentlichen Lebens in Bad Schandau, markiert er die Mitte des von Wohnhäusern und der Johanniskirche umgebenen Marktplatzes.

Ja Isabell, die sächsische Schweiz ist schon eine besondere Landschaft. Wanderfreunde und auch Kletterer kommen hier voll auf ihre Kosten. Man kann natürlich auch mit dem Dampfer die Elbe hinauf und auch hinunter fahren. Direkt entlang der Elbe gibt es auch den Elbe-Radweg. Man kann aber auch mit der Bahn fahren, welche auch im Elbtal verläuft. Burgen und Schlösser und natürlich die einzigartigen Sandsteinfelsen, die mit der "richtigen" Schweiz eigentlich nichts zu tun haben. - Wenn ich mal im Ruhestand bin, habe ich vielleicht auch öfter mal Zeit ... ;-)
