Chemnitz im Spiegel
Auf dem Gelände zwischen Stefan-Heym-Platz und der Johannisstraße, entlang der Bahnhofstraße klaffte noch sehr lange Zeit eine recht unansehnlich wirkende Baulücke, die mehr oder weniger wild genutzt wurde. Dort ist nun seit einiger Zeit das neue Super-8-Hotel im zukünftigen Großquartier "Neue Johannisvorstadt" entstanden, ein großer Büro-, Hotel- und Einzelhandelskomplex: das Johannis-Quartier. Bei einem kleinen Stadtrundgang entdecke ich dabei an diesem Gebäude einen Blickwinkel in der Stadt, den es vorher so nicht gab.
