Sugar mill Jesús Menéndez - 4
The next series of images is about a visit at the ruins of sugar mill no. 610 of Cuba, "Jesús Menéndez" (Chaparra). Most of the buildings are gone, except a hall's sceleton, a water tank, 2 chimneys and this last steam locomotive #1570 (original #10, construction #44460), built by Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1916, wheels 2-8-0. The sugar mill opened in 1899, closed in 2002. Here are some links to old images:
