what happened with Palace Hotel Haludovu?
Haludovu - 1
Still a great sea view, but how does it look behind? See yourself the next images about exploring the past. Built in 1971 under the supervision of architect Boris Magaš, it was the most luxurious vacation spot in what was then Yugoslavia, situated on the Croatian island of Krk. The owner, Penthouse magazine founder Bob Guccione, invested $45 million, expanding it to include the Penthouse Adriatic Club Casino. The offerings of the hotel and casino, including high-end cuisine, a cocktail bar, pool, saunas, a tennis court, and constantly scheduled entertainment were a far cry from many Western visions of Communist eastern Europe. Athletes, actors, dignitaries and leaders from all over the world spent time at the Haludovo Palace. When war broke out in Yugoslavia in the 1990s, the region became less attractive to foreign tourists hoping to blow money and soak up the sun. By the time Croatia gained its independence, the hotel had been abandoned for years, and was in a state of decay....and is abandoned until today.

Berny club has replied to Boarischa Krautmo clubAfter war at first it was place for refugges, then some criminals took over with good political connections, they only used object for taking big mortgage and spent money god knows where.
When banks took over they sold it to some armenian diamond trader..
Government now is trying to make a contact with him and do something with it but nothing for now, another monument of croatian stupidity.
