"Ridge of the Ghosts"
A steep ridge that drops vertically on one side and at an angle of 45 degrees on the other. Technically, this is easy to manage. But you need good courage. (Captured within the fixed rope route Heini Holzer above Meran (South Tyrol, Italy).)
~~~~~
Ein steiler Grat, der an einer Seite senkrecht und an der anderen 45 Grad schräg abfällt. Technisch ist das leicht zu bewältigen. Aber man braucht man gute Nerven. (Fotografiert im Klettersteig Heini Holzer oberhalb von Meran (Südtirol, Italien).)
And a wonderful view!
Pity about the colour and design of the building you highlight. Just what were they thinking and why was it ever permitted? I can see that it is the head of a ski lift or a funicular railway or some form of people conveyance but why the garish colour?
Maybe I have missed something very obvious (it is often the case with me!), but it really does ruin the view in my opinion.
Die Aussicht lohnt gewiss diese Tour.
