Remarquable par sa lumiere,son ombre et son reflet.. IL est vraiment fabuleux de se promener le long de cette belle rivière aux bordures verdoyantes qui serpente tout en douceur et traversant ce superbe pont..Les gens qui y habitent ces maisons ravissantes avec de magnifiques balcons sont bien chanceux.. HFF et excellente fin de semaine.

Heureuse d'avoir évoqué l'atmosphère de cette Riviera au centre de Padoue que tu as su interpréter et décrire de façon si suggestive e charmante.

Oh I love rippled reflections Bea! I also love these houses along the river/canal, with their beautiful balconies that must be great to sit on with a glass of something nice in the summer ;-))

Actually they are in the central part of Padova, but the street along this Riviera is not busy at all and very peaceful.
From Spring to early Autumn it is really great to sit in the gardens or balconies of these house and as you say, with a glass of something nice:-)

On that sunny day everything was so limpid : the trees on the other side projected their shadows on the houses and the water itself reflected anything bing there.

as you will have understood, considering all the photos that I have dedicated to them:-), I deeply love these corners of Riviere along the rivers and canals that intersect in a labyrinthine but, in my opinion and not only in my opinion, in a strategic map which has been crossing this city through the ancient routes of communication and trade since ancient times. Now, of course, there are many other trade routes, but fortunately, despite some fillings of channels for obvious reasons of circulation, these remain for me spectacular and evocative corners, which although in central Padua, unfortunately many visitors do not know. I riflessi ispirano sempre noi fotografi, ovviamente non sempre si ottengono buone foto perché, come al solito, conta la luce. Ma qui l'edificio, oltretutto di colore chiaro, è in condizioni perfette per essere fotografato, per cui le sue brillanti tonalità si specchiano nella Riviera con un sottile e piacevole gioco di sfumature dovuto alla corrente. Molto caratteristico anche l'altro edificio a tinte ocra e dagli antichi e tipici terrazzi.
Composizione tutta in diagonale, in cui la staccionata fa da quinta a dx., impeccabile lavoro che ci parla di un luogo che, almeno io, ho imparato a conoscere tramite le Tue foto, molto contemplative e descrittive che lasciano trasparire il Tuo amore per l'antica e silenziosa Riviera.

La luce era effettivamente ottima anche se decisamente forte sulle case, caro Fabio, quindi, ho dovuto scendere un po' sulla riva per catturarle in diagonale. I colori sono quelli originali così tipicamente padovani. Questa è una parte del percorso di Riviera S.Benedetto , una delle tante nella mappa di canali, fiumi che s'intrecciano in pieno centro e in periferia in questa città, detta appunto 'Città d'Acque'( sic) , con le loro varietà di scorci che , hai ragione, sempre mi affascinano e perciò vado a ricercare , anche senza mf, per il mio piacere, magari allungando il mio percorso.
E' pur vero che non mi stanco mai di fotografarle! Ne tante e poi tante nel 'cassetto' che , tuttavia, m'impedisco di pubblicare per non essere troppo ripetitiva !:-)

Bellissimo l'angolo che hai fotografato e reso così delicato e silenzioso con i colori tenui delle belle case eleganti! Bello il verde che affianca il canale e che si veste di colori pittorici! Classici i balconi ancora con i sostegni di legno o di muratura!! La conosco bene Padova perchè con la mia famiglia ci siamo stati per 7 anni allegri e con tanti conoscenti e amici vicino alla Basilica di S. Antonio! Poi mio padre è stato trasferito ad Ariano Polesine...e fu tutta un altra storia! Ciao un'abbraccio Laura
