you used red food colouring? I thought the glass was red? no? Can you get neon food colouring? it's a blast too, although I can say I have only used it in water... never for it's 'intended' purpose.

Exactly the same over here Wendi: as you said, I now have a red phase AND a shadow phase ... BOGOF! ;)

As for the photo set up, the glass was clear, not red. The colour came from red food colouring added to water in the glass, which then produced the red coloured shadow when I shone light through it. All good fun! :)
