Saint-Martin de Tours
Saint-Martin de Tours is a Roman Catholic basilica in honour of St. Martin in Tours. The present basilica was built in Romanesque-Byzantine style. Construction began in 1887, inaugurated in 1925. The crypt contains the tomb of the saint.
The basilica has a large dome with a height of 51 m. On its top there is a representation of St. Martin, who blesses the city.

The Saint-Martin Basilica was one of the largest church buildings in the West in the Middle Ages.
The Basilica and the Abbey of Saint-Martin de Tours were one of the most important Christian pilgrimage sites for more than a thousand years.
