You should read this magnificent poem by Fernando PESSOA. Nothing to do with tobacco addiction.

When I first read the beginning of Pessoa’s Tobacconist’s I quickly wrote this on the facing page:

I am not a poet,
Never shall be a poet,
Cannot will myself to be a poet.
This apart, I often dream that I am a great poet.
