am Hechtsee
Der Name lautete früher Höchtsee, eine Ableitung von der Bedeutung, auf der Höhe liegend. Er hat einen Umfang vonetwa 2,7 km und eine Tiefe von fast 60 Metern. Er ist einer der wärmsten Badeseen Tirols und erreicht im Sommer nahezu 27 ° Wassertemperatur.
