Geometridae, Ennominae - Wingspan: 30-36mm.

A common late Spring species throughout the UK, and in Cornwall, which can occur in numbers around a Moth Trap at the appropriate time of the year.

The flight season in the south of the UK is from mid April to June, but in Cornwall can extend into August, with occasional individuals being seen into November.
