Where the Fire Was

This corner of the pasture was billowing smoke in the spring (see note). Dry conditions and likely a careless smoker set this field ablaze. It has a new fence and is as green as I have ever seen it. The livestock seem to be enjoying it.

Fire has a rejuvenating effect on the land.... Only us humans see it as a tragedy. Granted, careless human activity leading to fires most often ends up being tragic. Wonderful capture!!
