There Goes My Neighbor's House

There Goes My Neighbor's House
For Not The Sunday Challenge.

I used the Dutch Tilt for this one. The first reason was to get as much of the backhoe in the frame. The other was to give a feeling of discombobulation at the demolition of the house next door.

Please let me know if it worked.

Xata, , Gudrun, Steve Bucknell and 2 other people have particularly liked this photo

It does look as if the excavator is going to topple into the house. Which is indeed discombobulating. I hope everyone had their safety equipment on.

The yellow excavator certainly dominates the frame! I didn't notice the tilt at first but it gives the feeling the excavator is coming a bit too near for comfort;-)

But isn't it sad, you lose your neighbour ??

A duplex house will be built in its place therefore we will have two neighbors. The existing neighbor will still be there.

And to think all this time I thought it was just me not being able to keep the camera horizontal. I was being artistic! ;)
