MN1106 CARMAN - MIDLAND DEPOT

MN1106 CARMAN - MIDLAND DEPOT
POSTCARD

Date: Posted July 11, 1909 to a Mr. Walter Anderson in Minneapolis.

Publisher / Photographer: Published for E. M. Sanders by Warwick Bro's & Rutter #4820

Notation: In addition to the image itself, I was drawn to this card by the handwritten message - particularly the writer's description of travelling by train;

FRONT: "I came in on this line from Plum Coulee, a distance of about 28 miles and it took just one hour & twenty minutes, thats travelling some. The roughest ride I ever had, Ha Ha. something like the Scenic R.R. at wonderland.

Well Walter if you want to take a rough ride come up and ride on this line it is the Great No. [Great Northern Railway]"

REVERSE SIDE: "Friend Walter, I will drop you a card and let you know that I am still alive. Nothing doing on Sundaysup here dead. just got here Friday night July 9. this is a pretty nice town about 1500 people some neat and pretty XX will be here until about July 19, and then expect to go to [Saskatchewan] about 600 miles from here Good Bye H. F."
