Bei uns immer pünktlich direkt nach den Sommerferien, Berge von Lebkuchen, Stollen etc...

Thanks very much, George! I guess having long dark winters makes you long for light. In Germany we are used to turning off the light when we leave a room, in Norway all rooms are brightly light all day. Saving energy is a relatively new concept there;-)

I so long for those carefree days, as I know you do too, Gudrun. We have been in a state of shielding since the beginning, but are lucky enough to be able to get out and about in Shropshire mostly and into the Welsh borders, while maintaining strict hygiene and maintaining social distancing.

Thanks a lot, Amelia! Living in the country and owning a car is a big bonus these days. I have mostly kept to places I can reach on foot. I have used public transport only once- too many wearing their masks below nose or chin, it didn't feel safe. Let's hope the worst is over come next spring...

The window is so pretty with the lights but the reflections show a little of how we would soon feel, especially lady with her hand to her head! What a disaster this year has been and how we long for normality! I had better cheer up and wish you a good and safe week Gudrun.

Tja, Erinnerungen werden wach an unseren Besuch in Tromsø 2016. Den geplanten Norwegenurlaub im August haben wir leider verschoben.
