Great shots, both of them. What comes to challenge, I like the window shot more. The first shot on the other hand shows how it is possible to use low light torches to take nice shots with 100 ISO/ASA. One just needs a tripod and camera that can take long exposures.

A suggestion for next time. Move the light (torch) during the exposure to get soft shadows. There is nothing wrong with strong shadows, but just a suggestion to try something different.

Thanks a lot, Sami! I have some shots where I moved the torch, and others with lamp lighting which all do look softer. But this is the only one showing the complete scene (I got a bit bored after that and finished shooting;-) You'll probably see a softer macro version tomorrow;-)

I once had a Canon digital that took amazing night shots on automatic and I've never used a tripod. You would never have known! Unfortunately it only lasted as long as the battery (about 3 months) and a fault meant that I couldn't re-charge it again. A pity.

Many thanks, Andy! Such a pity about your camera! I quite ike using a tripod if I don't have to carry it around much;-) It's quite easy once you've got the hang of it.

Die Farben sind sehr schön gelungen. Ich finde "Gelb" immer super schwierig. Toll gemacht und Frohe Ostern Dir!

Besten Dank, Chrissy! Zum Glück gibt es RAW- das Original war zu rot, die automatische Korrektur (auch mit Pipette) viel zu kühl, ich hab's dann irgendwo manuell eingependelt;-)

Die Detail-Schärfe bei 30sec ist beeindruckend !
PiP gefällt mir auch sehr - gut, daß Fotofans wie wir auch aus dem schlimmsten Wetter noch was Kreatives basteln können.
