Good exposure and especially the point of view. My only suggestion is to crop out part of that "negative space" on left. Nothing wrong with it particularly, but I thing some other aspect ratio (e.g. 4:5) could work.

Thanks a lot, Sami! I can see what you mean and have added 2 different crops as PiPs. As a long time SLR user I am somewhat fixated on 3:2 aspect ratio and wanted to have the line of light run out in the lower left corner- only the line can hardly be seen...

I think the square is the best, for my taste.

Just for fun, also try to turn the image 90 degree left. Could look interestingly unnatural.

I like it. But yes, one could then consider editing some more, to remove that red reflection.

What comes to rotation. it is something what one artist (painter) ones suggested to me. Any work that is somewhat abstract should be mirrored and rotated to see how it changes how the work looks.

That artist was right, rotation/ mirroring is something we should try out more often. That's why I like groups like this one, you learn and get new ideas! And you have now given me an idea for my next upload, I remember I have an abstract mirror image somewhere....

Danke vielmals, Uwe! Ja, mit der Murmel habe ich alles mögliche ausprobiert- Lampe, Taschenlampe, normales Licht... Wenn man schon nicht raus kann, dann beschäftigt man sich halt so- und ich hatte in einem Abwasch gleich die Fotos für Samstag bis Montag;-)

Gut, dass Du eine Glasmurmel benutzt hast. So kommt noch ein zusätzlicher Leuchteffekt ins Spiel. Die Idee, während einer langen Belichtungszeit mit der Taschenlampe reinzublitzen, ist genial!!

Dabk dir, Klaus! Ich hatte es noch mit einer anderen probiert, aber die liess kein Licht durch. Das mit der Taschenlampe kann auch ins Hemd gehen, aber man kann ja die verungkückten Versuche löschen;-)

Herzlichen Dank, poly! Abends um 10, Rollos unten, Licht aus. Ich musste erst bei licht alles scharfstellen, sonst hätte ich nichts gesehen;-) Und dann nur ein paar Sekunden mit einer kleinen Taschenlampe rumgeblinzelt...
