The Sunday Challenge (TSC): begins with an F, must be bw and a very close up shot
I chose a thimble (Fingerhut in German) and got as close as the lens allowed, bw editing with Silver Efex Pro (two other versions in the notes, the second note is cropped)

Many thanks, Paul! It was fun trying to get that tiny thimble in the frame, usually it lies forgotten at the bottom of the sewing box. I was glad we were able to use words in our own language, otherwise I'd have ended up with a fork;-)

Thank you, pappy! Harriet's Swedish word for it "fingerborg" is much along the same lines:-)
